The basis of the treatment is the repositioning and volumization of facial structures with hyaluronic acid. Precise infiltrations are performed in anatomically defined points that allow us to compensate part of the aging process. The treatment includes the repositioning of the anatomical points of facial structure, the facial beauty points and finally, the most superficial area, which we call refinement, which is like the icing on the cake.
Initially we start the treatment in the middle third of the face, we replace the tissues of the periocular area, the temporal area, the cheekbones and the nasolabial folds. We continue with the lower third, working on the cheek, chin and mandibular arch, to finish with the periorbital contour and lips.
Facial restructuring is a very personalized treatment in which we work together with each patient improving to the extent that each one needs. The treatment can be performed in a single session or we plan between 2 or 3 sessions maximum that are distributed over a year. This allows discrete changes in each session and allows an adaptation of the product in each area and a progressive change over time.
The session can last between an hour or an hour and a half depending on the areas to be treated. It can be slightly longer if combined with other treatments such as botulinum toxin.
The results of facial restructuring last between a year and a half and two years, but once the treatment is completed, maintenance sessions are performed annually, which allows us, with very little amount of hyaluronic acid to maintain that fresh, young and harmonious appearance.
Facial reshaping treatment may cause some discomfort, but is generally not painful. Local anesthesia is usually used to minimize pain and discomfort during the procedure.
The facial restructuring treatment can last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the extent of the treatment and the areas to be treated.
The results of facial resurfacing treatment can last from six months to two years, depending on the individual and the amount of hyaluronic acid injected.
Facial restructuring treatment is suitable for people who wish to improve the appearance of their face, and who have areas that have lost volume or sunken over time. Ideal candidates are people in good general health and who have no known allergies to hyaluronic acid.
