Benefits

Carboxytherapy is a minimally invasive aesthetic medicine technique in which carbon dioxide (CO2) is applied through small and painless subcutaneous injections. The result of carboxytherapy is a greater firmness of the tissues, so the skin looks smoother and younger.

What are the benefits of carboxytherapy?

Treatments

The micro-injections of carbon dioxide are performed with microneedles so its application is painless. This technique is especially indicated to treat aesthetic problems such as cellulite, flaccidity, localized adiposity, stretch marks and the appearance of scars or skin burns.

In addition, carboxytherapy is also useful to correct dark circles under the eyes (as it improves circulation) and in rejuvenation treatments of the neck, décolleté, hands and other areas of the body. In addition, it is also advisable to perform carboxytherapy sessions before and after other techniques such as liposuction.

This treatment is performed in the office without the need for local anesthesia. The results are immediate. The duration of its effects depends on the previous conditions of each patient, but the results after the sessions last about 6 months. Afterwards, it is necessary to do maintenance sessions that we indicate according to each case: between 4 and 10 in facial case, and between 10 and 12 if the treatment is corporal. Usually the sessions are performed weekly or every 15 days.

Both cryolipolysis and carboxytherapy are effective techniques for reducing body fat, but each has its own advantages and limitations.

Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive treatment that uses cold to freeze and destroy fat cells. It is a good option for patients who wish to reduce small amounts of localized fat in specific areas of the body. Cryolipolysis is a safe and effective technique, but results may take several months to be noticeable.

On the other hand, carboxytherapy is an invasive technique that uses carbon dioxide injected directly into fat tissue to destroy fat cells. Carboxytherapy is a good option for patients who wish to reduce large amounts of fat and improve the appearance of the skin. Results are visible after a few sessions, but there may be some discomfort during the procedure.
