Director of Antiaging Group Barcelona, Dr. Jesús Benito is a surgeon of recognized prestige; he has been president of the AECEP in years 2018-2019 and Vice President of Aesthetic Surgery of the SECPRE between 2015-2018. A pioneer in various surgical techniques, he has received awards and published in prestigious publications.

Professional Experience

Director of Antiaging Group Barcelona. He studied Medicine and Surgery at the University of Valencia, graduating with honors in 1987.  Extraordinary Undergraduate Award. From 1988 to 1993 he was trained as a Specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery at the  Hospital “La Fe” of Valencia.

In 1994 he moved to Barcelona to join the Plastic Surgery Department of the Hospital Clínic Universitario de Barcelona, where he worked as a Senior Specialist until 2010, to devote himself entirely to his project Antiaging Group Barcelona.

He has been president of the Spanish Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (AECEP) and National Secretary of ISAPS Spain (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery). He is currently involved in the Patient Safety Committee at ISAPS.

He is a member of several scientific societies, highlighting the Spanish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SECPRE), the Spanish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SECPRE), the Spanish Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (AECEP); the Spanish  American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) and the International Federation of Adipose Therapeutics and Science (IFATS).
