Medical micropigmentation
Micropigmentation or “permanent makeup” is a procedure that, although from ancient times, is getting increasingly particular interest due to the applications in aesthetic medicine of dermopigmentation. In fact, we use micropigmentation both for aesthetic reasons as well as for cosmetic reasons in certain pathologies (eyebrows alopecia, cleft lips, areola after mastectomy, etc). The most common areas are lips, eyebrows and eyes. But most recent progress has been made in terms of micro-pigmentation of areola. This technique allows correction of scars after breast surgery such as mastopexy or breast reduction. It is also the technique of choice for areola reconstruction after mastectomy, which gives a much more natural look to the new breast and a more satisfactory psychological outcome for patients, eliminating the need to obtain skin from other areas such as the groin.
Micropigmentation is a technique by which we can place pigments under the skin in a controlled manner. This pigmentation is achieved by a small tissue injury that allows us to leave the ink in the dermis, just below the superficial layer of the skin, the epidermis. That is why accurate measures of asepsia and a professional specialist are needed to ensure that the whole process is right from the beginning to end.
Our medical practice is regulated by the Spanish law on the issue, which published some health legislation on dermopigmentation procedures, and we use safe cosmetic hypoallergenic products.
So when thinking about the medical micropigmentation, most importantly, choose a good professional in the right environment, complying with health regulations imposed thereon and receive a good information before carrying out the process.
At our clinic, we inform you of all situations when this technique is not indicated, how to prepare the area and what type of care measures you must have carry out after treatment. We will provide you a card providing the data (lot, expiration date, etc.) of the pigments used.
Micropigmentation is a technique that must be customized and allows us adapt it for each patient. The first visit is the most important, where we agree on the intended result.
The process is usually done in several sessions, as each patient reacts differently to skin pigment, which is due to continue adapting to the skin tones of the patient and thus achieve very natural results. Consider also that the tone can be lost over the years and that may be necessary to do a session of “touch up” to maintain the result.

Moltes gràcies per visitar la nostra web. La tècnica de micropigmentació l’apliquem a la correcció de cicatrius sobretot després d’augment de mames. De moment no fem dermopigmentació en altres zones amb finalitats estètiques. Si ho desitja, li podem mantenir informada sobre aquest tema.

Por favor, me gustaría que me indicaran el precio medio o aproximado de esta micropigmentación, pues tengo la aureola con manchas blancas y sin forma definida.

Los precios varían según lo que tengamos que hacer pero una orientación: areolas entre 600 y 800€, cicatrices periareolares: 300-500€. Esto se define en consulta una vez valore el equipo médico qué necesitaría.
